Our Beginning
Hi there! I’m Ashley, the heart behind Wisconsin Wicks. Our journey began in 2020 amid the backdrop of the COVID19 pandemic. It originated as a humble candle making hobby. Another way to keep my hands busy throughout the quarantine, and my mind busy amidst the heartbreak.
As the pandemic waned, I was finally able to spend time with my family – my greatest joy in life. I hugged my Mom, Dad, and sisters for the first time in months. As I embraced them, I soaked in every detail – the tightness of their embrace, the feel of their clothes in my hands…and their scent.
The familiar aroma of their fabric softeners and perfumes unlocked old memories. Transported back in time, I felt the thrill of staying out late on a school night with my sisters. Memories of morning walks with my Mom filled my heart with serenity. Excitement, brought on by Christmas mornings past flooded my veins. As I breathed in their fragrance, I relived my most cherished memories. This event altered my course. Keeping this joy all to myself was not an option. I decided to spread it, through Wisconsin Wicks.
